Motion XI Welcomes Guitar Duo StanDrew to Menaul Opening

FRIDAY NIGHT– Guitar Music by Stan and Andrew Bozek, sometimes referred to as “StanDrew”. This father and son duo performs a variety of Finger Style Guitar Instrumentals ranging from the Beatles to Beethovan, Country to Contemporary, as well as some original material. They have CDs available for sale, music from which can be heard on Pandora.com and live 365 Internet Radio. Stan is also available for guitar lessons.

Welcoming Creative Pinellas

Motion XI was present to welcome the birth of Creative Pinellas another new kid on the block to uplift and support the artists of Tampa Bay. On the far right director Hampton Dohrman gave the welcoming speech warmly recieved by the many creatives in attendance.

Motion XI to have 9 day show, hosted by Menaul Art in Clearwater

Motion XI will be showing various pieces from their artists’ collections  in Clearwater, Florida. Artists will be available opening night, April 20th for a meet and greet, photos, and Q&A. A variety of art from clay to paint to photography will be on display. Show runs through April 29th. Menaul is located at 1750 N Hercules Ave Clearwater, FL 33765

Motion XI announces art show hosted at Plato’s Gallery during 1st Friday, 4-6-2012 & 4-7-12

Plato’s contemporary gallery will be hosting the art of Motion XI during First Friday Festivities on April 6th at 1405 11th Street W, Bradenton, FL 34205 from 5P to 9:30P. Join us for an exciting evening of world class art, first friday festivities, and smores (yes…SMORES!!!) Motion XI style at Plato’s backyard fire pit! We will also be showing at the second day of festival of the arts, Saturday April 7th, from 11A to 4P.

3 New Artists Join Motion XI for 2012!!!

Meet Motion XI’s Newest artists at our upcoming Motion Art Shows on April 6th at Plato’s Gallery (1405 11th Street W, Bradenton, FL 34205) and April 20th (art on display through the 29th) at The Menaul Gallery (1750 N Hercules Ave Clearwater, FL 33765)!

Our newest artists include: Lynne Parrish, an accomplished professional artist whose career spans over 25 years. Although she has had the pleasure of traveling the country painting artistic creations that include one-of-a-kind signs, illustrations, designs, restaurant murals and artwork, Lynne can now be found working out of her studio located in the historic Old Northwest section of Largo, FL. She also creates on location, and her masterpiece murals and paintings can be found throughout Belleair and the surrounding areas.

Junior Polo, born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Since the age 5, Polo has been following the best Haitian painters in their respective disciplines. He has since developed his love and passion for art through painting, pottery, and stage design. Polo later found his inspiration for helping youth and he began to develop a plan to start a youth empowerment non-profit organization called GREDEVE (Network Empowerment for Child Development). Now, this 16-year-old organization teaches at-risk and underserved youth in the areas of leadership, art, literacy, and personal development. Junior currently serves on the Board of Directors and manages all staff members. He now lives in the Tampa area with his wife and daughter. He draws on his experiences in Haiti and the recent earthquake disaster to create his art. He is featured in several galleries in the Tampa area.

Don Gillespie is an artist and former NASA Engineer and the CEO of Morning Star Interactive. He has developed web and CD based projects for Disney, Ford Motor Company, Lucent Technologies, Honeywell, Xerox, Caterpillar, Eckerd, BellSouth, Compaq and more. His current art reflects his tremendous engineering experience.

The 2012 “I Love Clearwater – Past Present & Future” Art Show and Sale showcases over 50 professional and amateur local artists displaying art, photos, sculptures, jewelry and more. Each piece is inspired by the beautiful city of Clearwater, FL and what it means to live, work and play here.

Join Deb, Rick, and Jennifer from Motion XI (who all have pieces in the show) as well as many other talented artists for conversations with the artists, food, wine and fun at the events listed below. Menaul Art Gallery on North Hercules Ave. is proud to have this show on display for 10 days until February 20th. The exhibit is open to the public for the duration of the show during business hours or by appointment. This is an excellent opportunity to shop, support local artists and view some of the best works in all of Clearwater.
